CYA Cloth Diapers: Cloth for Your Angel
Please note that it's better to choose your size from your baby's measurements rather than weight. Two babies weighing the same can be built completely differently and need different sizes. The weight approximations that I list are just that, approximations.
My organic fitted diapers have an inner layer of plush organic cotton sherpa and a quilted organic cotton soaker pad with cute flannel print outer layers. My All Organic diapers have an outer layer of organic flannel instead of a print. AIOs have an outer layer of waterproof PUL and fit slightly larger than my regular fitteds. Diapers have elastic around the legs and across the back for a great, trim fit. All come with a cross over tab at the waist for thin babies and the newborn size fits under the belly button for newborns. Closures are quality Touchtape, which holds up well with extended wash and wear. Laundry tabs on every diaper make washing easy and keep your diapers nicer for longer. *New snap option is now available, too!
Note: Unless your baby is very round about the tummy or extremely tall, my medium fitteds will usually fit most babies through potty training. I'm always happy to do a size exchange, so I'd recommend starting with a medium size for larger babies and sizing up if needed.
Washing Instructions: Rinse off any poos as you change diapers. Run a cold water rinse on all diapers. Wash on hot with 1/4 normal amount of detergent, rinse in cold with a second rinse if your diapers were really messy. Machine dry high. I recommend using the delicate cycle on your washing machine. Also make sure your laundry tabs are closed when washing and drying. Diapers will shrink a little and become more absorbent after the first few washes.
Wool covers are great for heavy wetters and nighttime use. My wool covers are two layers of soft wool flannel or knit and are available in a great assortment of beautiful colors. My cashmere covers are the softest covers you can find! CYA Wool Wraps fit well over my fitteds as well as other brands and prefolds. Elastic in the leg gussets and back waistline are great at controlling leaks and provide a comfortable fit. *New snap closure option is now available!
Note: Knit covers have +1" to the max waist and rise measurements when fully stretched, and usually fit for an additional 2 lbs.
Washing Instructions: CYA Wool Wraps should be hand washed in warm water with a lanolin wool wash such as Sudz n Dudz or Eucalan. Hang or lay flat to dry. Wool covers only need to be washed once every week or two unless they're leaked on. I recommend closing the velcro and turning your wrap inside out to wash. Be very careful not to agitate too much or change the temperature of your wool too quickly or it will shrink.
How to Lanolize: Before using and then once every month or so, or if you notice your covers leaking, you will need to lanolize your wool covers. Dissolve 1-2 tsp lanolin in a sink of warm water. Its easiest to put your lanolin in a tiny lidded tupperware with hot water and a little wool wash or baby shampoo and shake to dissolve. Swoosh your covers around and soak for 30 minutes. Wring them out and hang to dry. Make sure theyre thoroughly dry before using. Cashmere covers will need to be lanolized more often than regular wool.
CYA PUL covers are one layer of waterproof polyurethane laminate in your choice of fun colors. These covers have the same sizing and great fit of my wool wraps. Each cover can be used several times before washing (assuming no poop leaks) - just wipe out the inside and let it dry.
Washing Instructions: You can wash your PUL covers along with your diapers. Rinse, wash on hot, then machine dry or hang to dry to extend the life of your covers.
CYA Softee Pants are all cotton or AIO potty training pants, so named by my son for their softness and comfort. They have cute knit cotton or PUL outside and soft organic cotton velour inside. The soaker pad is organic cotton sherpa. The edges are finished with gentle foldover elastic and there are two sets of snaps on the sides for a custom fit and easy removal. The snaps are small and less bulky than you'll find on other training pants, so they won't leave marks on side-sleeping toddlers. CYA Softee Pants allow your child to feel wet, helping to speed up potty training. They're great for using later in potty training to absorb accidents or early to feel wet on the outside, too.

Do not wash softee pants with any velcro type diapers: the velcro can tear up the foldover elastic on your softee pants.
